Who is Eligible to Shop in Our Market?

The Compass Market serves people in need in South Mississauga who live in the area south of the Queen Elizabeth Way, bounded by Winston Churchill Boulevard on the west, the Etobicoke border on the east and Lake Ontario on the south.

Our service area includes postal codes L5G, L5H, L5J, and L5E.  See map

If you live in Mississauga but outside of this area, please visit the Mississauga Food Bank’s area map  to discover where you can access the food bank which serves your area.

New Clients

Each first-time user has an interview with an intake staff person to discuss his/her situation and ascertain eligibility.

Please bring proof of your address in Mississauga, and records showing your monthly income and expenses.

We do not turn away anyone in need.   We provide emergency food supplies and other assistance, on a temporary basis, to those who are outside our service area, and referrals to ongoing sources of assistance.
