The Compass Foodbank and Outreach Centre is “community”. After more than 20 years of nurturing this gathering place, we continue to work together to make a difference in the lives of our clients experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. In this video, we share our founding principle of providing our clients with the dignity of choice, and how this purpose inspires us. We hope our video inspires you to learn more about The Compass.

The Compass is proud to share its contributions to the community. Together, we’ve distributed 705,278 lbs of food and served an average of 1794 people each month. Click here to download the report.

Food Distribution
If you are living in Mississauga within the postal codes L5E, L5G, L5H or L5J and are in need of food for yourself and/or your family we can help on a weekly basis. If you are outside those areas, please check with Food Banks Mississauga to find your local food bank (or call 905-270-5589)
Refresh now in Person
This program provides a safe space where individuals can explore, seek and ask real questions about God, faith, life struggles, and Jesus Christ.
The goal is to offer encouragement, hope and strength, fellowship, prayer and mentoring.
Lunch at The Compass
Free sit down or take out lunch is available at The Compass, 427 Lakeshore Rd East Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon. See activity calendar for full dates and times.
