To our Clients, Volunteers, Churches, Donors and Friends:

We miss you all. Things have changed a lot since our 2018 Annual General Meeting held in April 2019. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Compass has had to reorganize our Market operations to ensure the safety of our clients and volunteers. We have had some unique experiences and have made some new friends along the way.

We love nothing more than to share with you the successes of all we have done this past year, discuss where we see The Compass heading and answer any questions you might have. However, due to the pandemic, we have had to hold an online official 2019 AGM, in May 2020, to comply with government requirements for charitable organizations, all in accordance with an emergency order passed by the Ontario Government.

We know that the AGM was one of our big events and a chance to not only discuss issues but to spend time with each other. We want to let you know that we have not forgotten this, and we too enjoy this time hearing your questions and providing insight. We plan on hosting a general information session as things become safer to return to physical spaces. We also hope to be able to share with you exciting news on our planned move to a new location as part of the new Indwell supportive housing development at 425 Lakeshore Road East.

We are also welcoming Michael Giguere as the new Board Chair at the Compass. We would also like to thank David McKeown for his years of dedicated faithful service to the Compass.
