In June, twelve men from The Compass Food Bank went on an overnight trip to Ottawa. They attended the House of Commons and were introduced by Mississauga-Lakeshore MP Sven Spengemann, who then spoke about an anti-poverty petition they brought with them, which collected more than 200 signatures.

You can watch the video about the trip on Sven Spengemann’s Facebook page.
